ABOUT THE CAMPAIGN

The ICDE GAC-Team Philippines (#ICDEGACTeamPhilippines) is part of the ICDE Global Campaign for Open Flexible and Distance Learning (OFDL) Asia which aims to increase the level of awareness and practice of OFDL through the implementation of the campaign in different Asian countries.  Subsumed under the campaign will be advocating for changes in collaboration and quality; valuing student voices; technology’s role; guidance for policy makers; and open educational resources (OER). Specifically, the objectives of the campaign in the Philippines are the following:
      1. To formulate plans based on respective contexts and implement them during the campaign period;
      2. To increase awareness and practice of OFDL as well as formulation of supportive policies at the Institutional and national levels; and
      3. To contribute to institution building through capacity building and trainings and be part of the collaborative undertaking for blended, online, and open learning in the Philippines.
This campaign starts on September 2022 and will wrap up in November 2023.
